As always there will be another great tournament taking place tonight in the poker room. The $100+$20+$100 Black Chip Bounty Event kicks off at 7 P.M.
Players will start with 20,000 in tournament chips. The levels will start at 20 minutes and then increase to 25 minutes. Players will receive $100 cash bounty chip for every opponent that you eliminate from the tournament.

The limpers fold and they go heads up to the flop. The big blind checks and Hughes moves all in for his last 11,350. His opponent nearly beats him into the pot with the call and the hands are shown.

Hughes is drawing thin holding ace jack against the top pair and flush draw of his opponent. The turn gives Hughes a few extra outs as he picks up a straight draw. The hits the river and Hughes spikes trip jacks hitting one of the few cards that could earn him the pot and the double up.

Jediael Pires raises to 2,500 from middle position and three players make the call. They see a flop of and the big blind leads out with a bet of 6,000. Pires calls and they go heads up to the turn.
The big blind again leads out with a bet of 6,000 and again Pires calls. The river is the and the big blind fires out a bet of 6,000 for a third time.
This sends Pires into the tank for about 20 seconds before he tosses out the call. His opponent shows for just ace high. Pires shows for bottom pair which is enough to earn him the pot. Pires is now up to about 140,000 and is one of the largest stacks in the room.

Victor Paulino is becoming a familiar face on the blog here at the Borgata. He put on quite the performance in last months Winter Poker Open. Paulino started it off wining his first BPO title in Event 7 earning over $14,000.
He followed that up taking home $5,000 in the $560 Survivor Event. Paulino wasn’t done yet with one more final table in Event 21 the $300 NLH taking home another $14,700. He has been active early here today in Event 2 of the Deepstacks Challenge.
Paulino is now playing close to 80,000 and is one the largest stacks in the poker room.
